Bad breath is one terrible effect everyone wants to avoid. You wouldn’t want to meet someone and leave a bad impression on the person. We know you don’t want that but bad breath can make that happen.

The impression you leave with people matters a lot and it starts with the conversations you have. A bad breath can ruin a business deal or the relationship you have with people.

1.Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties that help greatly in reducing halitosis which causes bad breath. It restores the pH balance in the mouth.

All you need to do is make a solution of vinegar and water.  Use this as a mouthwash and gargle for 3-5 minutes. Rinse your mouth with plain water afterward. Try this at least twice a week and your breath will be as fresh as ever.

2.Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a popular homemade remedy used to keep the mouth healthy and bacteria-free. It’s very effective and easy. All you need to do is swish the coconut oil around in your mouth for 5-10 minutes and then spit it out. Use lukewarm water to rinse your mouth afterward and you’ll experience a noticeable change.

3.Pineapple Juice

Many people believe that pineapple juice is the quickest and most effective treatment for bad breath. Make sure you drink a glass of organic pineapple juice after every meal or chew on a pineapple slice for one to two minutes every day. It’s also important to remember to rinse your mouth immediately after taking the juice or chewing the fruit.

4.Green Tea

Taking green tea early in the morning instead of tea or coffee with milk can take you a long way in your war against bad breath. The phytochemicals in green tea are naturally antibacterial and will wash away and eliminate the odor-causing bacteria in your mouth.

Make sure you steep the tea bag for a few minutes and then remove it. Add honey to give the tea a sweet taste. Take at least one cup every day.

5.Baking Soda And Lemon Juice

Baking soda balances the pH levels in the mouth and brings down the acidity coupled with the antibacterial properties of lemon juice. This remedy makes a perfect combination that will help you get rid of that bad breath.

What you have to do is mix one teaspoon of baking soda and a half teaspoon of lemon juice to get a coarse paste. Gently rub this paste on your teeth and leave it on for a minute. Then rinse your mouth with clean water and you’re good to go. Try this once a week and you’ll have a noticeable positive result.

6.Epsom Salt

Epsom salt has been known to be a very effective remedy for bad breath. It also has natural antibacterial properties that fight oral bacteria and eliminate odour in the mouth. Mix one teaspoon of Epsom salt in lukewarm water and gargle with this. You can do this twice to three times a day.

7.Unripe Guava

 

Guava is loaded with vitamin C, tannic acid, malic acid, and oxalate which is an apt remedy for diseased gums and bad breath. Eat this fruit anytime during the day. You can also cut it into pieces and sprinkle some salt and black pepper powder on it for flavour.

8.Parsley Leaves

Parsley leaves are a home remedy for bad breath. The chlorophyll in parsley acts as an antibacterial and helps in eliminating the odour-causing bacteria from the mouth and the throat. All you have to do is chew the fresh leaves directly or add them as a garnish to your food.
