A couple who went viral over the weekend during the dedication of their new-born baby have shared their love story.
In an exclusive chat with BBC Pidgin, Rose John revealed how she was embarrassed by her family over her insistence on spending the rest of her life with Monday Itu, despite his disability.
She disclosed how they met when she was 19 years in SS2 and have been together for five years. They have two children.
The 24-year-old revealed how she was cursed by her family members when she took him to her house.
Rose said she has no regret being in a relationship with Itu despite the fact that he is not financially buoyant.
On his part, Itu explained how Rose has been a blessing to him, adding that his life would have been miserable without her.
The 29-year-old also revealed that he wasn’t born with a disability but his predicament befell him at age 4.
