Will Smith’s 20-Year-Old Daughter, Willow Opens Up On Being Polyamorous
Will Smith’s daughter, Willow has confirmed she is polyamorous.20-year-old made the revelation on Red Table Talk while in discussion with her mother Jada Pinkett-Smith and grandmother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
Polyamory is when people have intimate relationships with more than one partner at a time with the consent of all those involved.
Willow said she couldn’t see herself wanting to “go past two partners”.
Talking about her own take on polyamory, Willow said, “With polyamory, I feel like the main foundation is the freedom to be able to create a relationship style that works for you and not just stepping into monogamy because that’s what everyone around you says is the right thing to do. So, I was like, ‘How can I structure the way I approach relationships with that in mind?’”
She added, “In my friend group, I’m the only polyamorous person and I have the least sex out of all my friends.”
Her 49-year-old mother was supportive. “I’m okay with whatever you do,” she said.
Jada Smith has previously said she was bisexual and polyfidelitous – which is another form of non-monogamy.
