The world and Nigerians at large woke up on Sunday to the shocking news of the death of T.B Joshua as reactions continue to pour in.

Reports reveal the Synagogue founder died on Saturday, June 5 just days to his 58th birthday.

Amongst those that have reacted to the news of his death include media personality, Vimbai Mutinhiri-Ekpenyong.

The Zimbabwean-born actress and TV host paid a touching tribute to him as she recounted how he helped her at different stages in her life.

She wrote via her Instagram page:

Vimbai, I’m sending you to the prayer mountain. 3 days, 3 nights. No food. No water. And that’s how the rest of my life began.

When I moved to Nigeria he said “my daughter, you have finally come home”. When God revealed that I was about to lose my job he called and said “this opportunity is ending, let’s make a plan for you”.

When my sister died he said come and live with us, you shouldn’t be alone.

And all this is only the tip of the iceberg of the kindness, love and guidance I benefitted from this incredible man. Every conversation ended with the statement: I’m at your service!

You have always preached about the road to Heaven, but nothing could have prepared me and my family for a life without you. You have left a void that can’t be filled for millions across the world. As you always say: in every situation, God is saying something.

We hold on to the final words you said before taking your last breath: “watch and pray”. I will always love you @tbjoshua. Thank you for leading me to Christ and for being my shepherd in my walk in faith.
