Your View Host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown Bags Master’s Degree In Media & Marketing Communications

Morayo Afolabi-Brown is a degree hotter.

The ‘Your View’ host has bagged a Master’s degree in Media and Marketing Communications from Pan Atlantic University.

She took to Instagram to share the news disclosing how her dreams of having a degree in media has finally come through.

In 2005, I entered the media industry at CMC connect, a foremost PR company. Then I moved on to CUE Media, a content development company where I singlehandedly wrote a script for my company that won the $100,000 DSTV New Direction series project.

I moved over to HiTV, where I served as head of Content Acquisition & Production and later Commercial Director before moving on to TVC. At TVC, I was the most senior executive in programmes with the task of revamping the entertainment channel and creating marketable tv programs.

In all of these, I didn’t have the requisite media skills because my academic degree was in Political Science. Oftentimes, my staff would take out time to get their Masters and develop their skills.

One day, I told myself I mustn’t continue like this. I needed to stop doing “madam” and get back to school. I took the decision in 2019 to do both an MBA and a Master’s in Media. I enrolled at Pan Atlantic University and Zurich Elite Business School in Switzerland.

Today, I graduated with a Masters in Media and Marketing Communications from PAU.

Next year by God’s special grace, I’ll complete my MBA. Let somebody help me should Hallelujah.
