PDP deserves credit for success of all business owners in Nigeria -Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), say any successful business owner in Nigeria today was “established” when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was in power.

He said this on Sunday while speaking at a town hall meeting of the north-west business community in Kaduna state.

“Firstly, I would like to remind you all that any successful businessman today in Nigeria, was established by the government of PDP,” Atiku said.

“I am also part of you because business is my profession, not politics. That is why we want to unite you so that you can grow and even become more established and successful that the others.

“Just as we told the business community in the north-east, you should sit and discuss within yourselves and send to us in writing what your demands are, if you give us your support and God gives us success so that you as well can also grow.

“This, in a nutshell, is the reason why the business communities were established in the different zones of the country.

“You should tell us what you want and we will make you the promise that if you support us and vote for us we will fulfil our promises.”

Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto and director-general of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council, said Atiku understands the plight of business owners and Nigerians at large.

“Our leader understands the plight of businessmen and Nigerians and there are plans on ground, with the help of God and with your help, to fix this country,” he said.
