Fire Outbreak At Conoil Filling Station, Abuja

There was a fire outbreak at the Conoil filling station located in Area 10, Abuja today.

An eyewitness, Ette Samson, a graphic designer at the UTC Area 10 market, advised residents to stay away from that axis.

He said, “The fire started from the storage of the filling station, the whole facility has been burnt down. In fact we are stranded at the moment as the area has been sealed off”.

Officials of the Federal Fire Service were seen trying to put out the fire.

The station shares the same fence with Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, and is a stone’s throw away from Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture.

Following the incident, there was heavy traffic in Area 10 and its environs.
