Peter Obi dissociates self from alleged EndINEC nationwide protest by ‘Obedients’

Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate in the February 25 presidential election, has dissociated himself from social media postings suggesting that the ‘Obedients’ are planning a nationwide groundswell protest tagged “ENDINEC”, “ENDNigeria”.

Obi also accused the opposition of orchestrating the postings.

He disclosed this in a statement contained in a post on his verified Twitter handle on Friday.

My position is clear: Without prejudice to constitutional dictates on freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, I have publicly stated that in the matter of reclaiming our stolen mandate, we shall do so robustly via the Courts and Due Process,” Obi said
