Reactions Trail Death Of Popular Gospel Singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu

Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has reportedly died. She was aged 42 years.

The mother of four was said to have died in an Abuja hospital on Friday, April 8 after battling an undisclosed ailment for months.

There have been various versions of what led to her death. While some say she died of cancer, others say she was a victim of domestic abuse.

Osinachi shot into the limelight with the hit gospel song, “Ekwueme”, which she sang with Prospa Ochimana.

She was also the lead singer at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

Nigerians have been reacting to the sad news of her passing on Twitter.

“Ekwueme” is one of the BEST Igbo worship songs ever.
