Tom Cruise focuses on filming, misses daughter’s birthday

Tom Cruise won’t be part of his daughter Suri’s 18th birthday celebrations, as he’s busy filming Mission Impossible 8 in London.

Suri, who lives in New York with her mother Katie Holmes, will mark her birthday without her father, who has been estranged since 2013, a year after Tom and Katie divorced.

Despite not being involved in Suri’s life, Tom has been financially supporting her, with his annual $400,000 child support payments coming to an end on her 18th birthday. While Tom focuses on his career, Suri is reportedly planning to study fashion in New York, showing her talent in music as well.

Katie has been supportive of Suri, ensuring she has a strong upbringing despite Tom’s absence. Meanwhile, Mission Impossible 8’s production has faced delays due to the Hollywood writers’ strike, with scenes shot across the UK, including London landmarks.
